  • Nicoleta Oprea – piano

The Vienna based classical pianist, Nicoleta Oprea, presents a piano evening of passion and sparkling sounds. A program that celebrates the piano for its technical brilliance and explores the beauty of storytelling through music. What are the possibilities of this instrument? Are there any boundaries or is it an endless universe, which for a pianist in an entire lifetime is impossible to fully explore? The answer is indisputably the last. Nonetheless, this program is showing some of the facets of the classical piano music and a scale of sounds from “stillness” to “fireworks”. Every piano piece is a story told from the perspective of the player. A unique approach that gives us a new insight. As the piano as an instrument evolves and gives us a bigger scale of sounds and technical possibilities, the richness of the piano music becomes greater. The concert is a modern interpretation and a celebration of the music of Beethoven, Chopin, Kodaly and Liszt.
