The Gipsy Cimbalom Band is a sextet of virtuoso musicians who combine Roma music, jazz, flamenco, swing, klezmer and ragtime. The end result is an incredibly diverse and universal music, offering new surprises each time. The band has a unique world that includes many European countries where Gypsies play folk music, jazz or any kind of fun music: both instrumental and vocal music fits in to the program of the sextet, and although the instrumentation is arranged around Kálmán Balogh’s cimbalom, the bass, violin, guitar or trumpet play also important role.

This time, the Hungarian-Serbian singer Branka Básits joins the formation. Branka’s presence can open up new perspectives of musical cooperation, as she gives credentials to the Balkan music alongside Hungarian and Serbian folk songs, and captivates the audience with her passionate and unique performance.
