Bálint Gyémánt, one of Hungary's most distinguished jazz guitarists, has always been enriching diverse and exciting bands with his playing, which, in addition to carrying the characteristics of jazz and contemporary improvisation, is also able to appeal to pop music lovers. Pianist Krisztián Oláh builds his distinctive, dynamic music by organically combining classical musical elements and compositional techniques with the improvisational drift and abstract rhythms of contemporary jazz. Their joint project approaches the guitar and piano duo, with its limitless possibilities, from the artistic side of jazz. The backbone of their programme is formed by their own compositions and arrangements composed especially for this project, but even more importantly by the constant musical interaction and dialogue that is one of the duo's main characteristics.
