The Junior Prima and Gramofon award winner Áron Tálas, who has been voted the best Hungarian keyboardist by the readers of jazzma.hu and jazz.hu on several occasions, is known for his versatility: he has played drums with Lionel Loueke, Kurt Rosenwinkel, piano with Jorge Rossy, Ben Monder, and has been a regular or occasional contributor to the Borbély Workshop, Kristóf Bacsó Triad and many other bands. His main band, the Tálas Áron Trio, has developed a unique sound, which is influenced by folk and classical music, as well as harmonic and rhythmic elements of jazz. Their first album, Floating Island (released in Japan) has already presented an individual sound world, further matured on their second album, Little Beggar, also featuring compositions by Tálas, but this time released on BMC Records. The third album of the trio, renewed in 2020, will be released in 2023, again on BMC Records, and this is the first time the audience will be able to hear the material.
