After the stage of the Konzerthaus in Vienna, Veronika Huber will bring her debut programme to Budapest with the Danubia Orchestra. A graduate of the Vienna Private University of the Arts, the 22-year-old pianist began her musical studies at the age of 5 and has won several first prizes in international piano competitions since the age of 9. Since the age of 16, she has also attended master classes in Vienna and Portugal. Her varied repertoire is centred on music from the Viennese classical period, alongside French, Hungarian, and Russian piano literature. Veronika Huber represents the new generation of the great Viennese pianists, and was discovered by the Danubia Orchestra on the recommendation of Vera Ligeti. Under the baton of Máté Hámori, the young soloist and the excellent ensemble will perform works by four icons of music history.
